Upholding World Standards: CheckPointSpot Powers KLSCM 2025 Race Timing

Upholding World Standards: CheckPointSpot Powers KLSCM 2025 Race

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – 4 September 2025  – When the starter gun fired at Jalan Raja Laut, marking the beginning of the 17th KLSCM, it wasn’t just a race; it was Malaysia’s first World Athletics Elite Label distance running event in history. And at the heart of validating that world-class status—for every one of the record-breaking 42,000 participants—was CheckPointSpot (CPS).

Our mission was simple but critical: to ensure that the grueling effort and final victory of every runner were recorded with indisputable accuracy.

This technical integrity was paramount to confirming the historic results:

  • Top Malaysian Man: Yeow Ni Jia’s phenomenal effort was recorded at 2:36:13
  • Top Malaysian Woman: Michelle Chua Khit Yeng’s victory was certified at 3:05:40
  • Men’s Open Champion: John Nzau Mwangangi (Kenya) was secured in 2:17:28
  • Women’s Open Champion: Truphena Chepchirchir (Kenya) was validated at 2:41:36

Our precise timing was key to confirming these times, upholding the standard demanded by the World Athletics Elite Label. We are incredibly proud to have partnered with KLSCM 2025, which has successfully facilitated the raising of close to million for the Run For A Reason charity initiative.
